Pressure Ulcer on Inner Knee

A knee pressure ulcer, also called a knee bedsore or knee decubitus ulcer, is a skin lesion on the area surrounding the front or back of the knee. This bony region of the body is susceptible to pressure ulcers in bedridden and otherwise lower-body immobile individuals, but due to the ease with which the legs are ambulated by medical professionals, knee pressure ulcers are less common then bedsores on the bodies core. To learn more about knee pressure ulcers, see:
