Pressure Ulcer on Elbow

An elbow pressure ulcer, also called an elbow bedsore or elbow decubitus ulcer, is a skin or skin and tissue lesion on the area surrounding the elbow. This bony region is susceptible to pressure ulcers in very immobile individuals, but due to the ease with which the arms are ambulated, elbow pressure ulcers are less common then bedsores on the core of the body.
