Back of Head Pressure Ulcer

A back of head pressure ulcer is a lesion to the skin and underlying tissue located at the back of the head. A pressure ulcer on the back of the head is frequently formed because of constant pressure to the back of the head, and is common in individuals with limited mobility who are bedridden or recovering from a medical procedure in which they are unable to lift their head for extended periods of time.
